Introduction:
As a wedding planner at Red Velvet Weddings, I know it’s always a joy to bring a couple’s vision to life, but Aditi & Diego’s wedding at Punta Islita was unique. This 3-day celebration was not just a union of two people but a beautiful blend of cultures, traditions, and love that brought together 150 guests worldwide.
A Weekend to Remember.
Set against the backdrop of one of Costa Rica’s most stunning locations, Punta Islita, this February wedding weekend was nothing magical. The venue, known for its breathtaking views, provided the perfect setting for a celebration as vibrant as the cultures it represented. From the moment guests arrived, they were immersed in the warmth and vibrancy of both Costa Rican and Indian traditions.
Day 1: Welcome Party.
The festivities started with a lively Welcome Party, where guests could unwind and get to know each other. The atmosphere was electric, with everyone eager to celebrate the love of Aditi & Diego. The evening was filled with laughter, music, and a fusion of flavors that set the tone for the rest of the weekend.
Day 2: Sangeet & Mehendi.
Day two was dedicated to the Sangeet and Mehendi, a colorful and joyful celebration that brought everyone closer together. The Sangeet was a night of music and dance, with performances that had everyone on their feet. The Mehendi ceremony was equally beautiful, as intricate henna designs were applied to the hands of the bride and other women in attendance. The blending of Costa Rican and Indian elements made the day truly unique, reflecting the couple’s love and respect for each other’s cultures.
Day 3: The Wedding.
The final day was the wedding itself, a ceremony that perfectly encapsulated the spirit of Aditi & Diego’s love. The sun shone brightly, highlighting the natural beauty of Punta Islita and creating a stunning backdrop for their vows. The ceremony was a fusion of Costa Rican and Indian rituals, symbolizing the coming together of two worlds. The celebration that followed was filled with joy, laughter, and the kind of love that comes from the heart.

Aditi & Diego’s wedding was more than just a celebration of their love; it was a celebration of the cultures that shaped them.
