Dress Code

White dresses or similar shades are not allowed. The concept of the wedding is beach, so it is recommended not to wear long skirts.

White suits or clothing are not allowed, and it recommends using gray as a base color or navy blue.

December in Guanacaste is warm with an average high temperature of 88°F/31°C and average low of 70°F/21°C.

Our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be outdoors pending weather. If rain is anticipated, the reception will be covered.

During the Ceremony, we'd love for you to unplug—please turn off your phones, cameras, and any other devices and be present to enjoy this special moment with us. During the Reception—Yes! We'd love for you to take photos during the cocktail hour and reception. Please send us any and all photos/videos you capture!

No. Costa Rica accepts and uses the American dollar as currency. However, you may be given change in Costa Rican colones and will want to exchange or use them up before you leave.

We suggest letting your bank know that you will be traveling abroad for the specified dates so you can use your cards without being flagged.

Costa Rica observes Central Standard Time (CST) all year. There are no daylight savings time changes.

Outlets are the same as in the US, so no electric adapters/converters are needed.
